This is the occasional musings of someone who approaches the end of his working life, facing the challenges of not working for a living. After 40 years of routine as a public servant, surrounded by colleagues, working within bureaucracies, it will a different day each new day.

I have worked in 2 countries within Europe and also within Africa. As a child, I travelled and lived in Asia and Europe. As an adult, I have travelled extensively. For my retirement, I will start again on a small island in the Caribbean.

Starting new, in not working and in a new land, will hopefully bring new life.
